International Medicine in Addiction Conference

We know how much everyone values the biennial International Medicine in Addiction Conference. As a result we took the recent decision that this Conference is too important to all of us not to proceed and so we have re-imagined the 5th IMiA by introducing it to the virtual realm. We know that we can put together another fascinating, practical and engaging Conference for everyone while keeping us all safe.

Using digital technology will mean we can continue the tradition of an engaging, challenging and educational line up. We are committed to developing an innovative scientific program and look forward to announcing our incredible keynote speakers in the coming weeks.

This year’s theme of Connecting the Disconnected acknowledges that we, as doctors, work with people and communities who use substances and therefore we are very aware of the sometimes complex issues, the disconnection, marginalisation and need to respond to people’s unique situations and issues.

By moving to a virtual platform we hope to welcome doctors from around the world, not just Australia and New Zealand, to participate in the three day program over the weekend of 26 - 28 February 2021.

We look forward to your support and participation!
